Irish Creme Liqueur - from Jamie
Makes about 5 cups
1 pint or half liter bottle Irish whiskey (brandy or rum works
fine, but ain't Irish)
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk)
1 cup heavy cream
2 Tablespoons chocolate syrup
2 teaspoons instant coffee
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon almond extract.
Combine all ingredients in blender until smooth. Store tightly covered in refrigerator up to one month. Shake or stir well before serving.
To make this LC friendly, the condensed milk needs to be changed to
cream plus sweetener, and the chocolate syrup needs to be changed to a
sugarfree chocolate syrup. The rest of the recipe is OK.
