Layered Salad - from Lisa Lucas
I use Hellmans and think it makes a difference.
1 1/2 cups of Mayo, 2 T of Splenda, 1/2 t garlic powder. Mix to make
dressing.
One head of ice berg lettuce washed and torn.
Layer bottom of dish with lettuce, spread a little of the salad dressing
on lettuce. Sprinkle, chopped peppers ( I use red, yellow and green) ,
chopped celery, chopped green onion ( top and bottoms), chopped cucumbers,
( 2/3 cup of frozen sweet peas is 12 Grams of carbs and are wonderful in
this salad- optional), cover with lettuce and then cover the entire top
with dressing. Cover with shredded jack or mozzarella cheese and sprinkle
with crumbled bacon.
